| Activities and Lectures in English at the Museum 2004 |

The list was up-dated on 5.4.2004 On April 4'th 2004 there was a new private view of the special exhibition with works of art by Poul Rytter(1895-1965. Several pieces of art have been replaced by other very good pieces which have been made available to the museum by private owners. On the new exhibition are a number of portraits and some rare religious painting which will be on show only during Easter. The exhibiton may be seen till the end of June 2004. The Friends of the Museum had arranged that on saturday March 6'th 2004 Morten Boje Hviid, (the only Danish surviver from the 'Estonia' disaster) came to Thorsminde and held a very interesting lecture about this tragic event. 'The Friends of the Museum' had their annual general assembly on the 18. March 2004 at 07:30 pm in the museum. After the general assembly Lars Mortensen will told about the plans to build a tower to hold the rudder from the 'St.George'. More information about the events in 2004 will be shown here as soon as we have them. |
